Bouquerie Lagrasse unveils two new apartments undergoing renovation.
Greetings to our Bouquerie Lagrasse family. We are thrilled to share some news about our two new renovation projects that are underway, each with its own narrative. These apartments, each located in their own independent building, promise to transport guests to a bygone era, while offering comfort and modern facilities.
The first chapter of this story takes place in a building located immediately across the road from the main building of the reception of Bouquerie Lagrasse. Recently classified as a national monument, this medieval building houses a treasure of well preserved paintings, effected directly on to its wooden beams, dating back as far as 15th century. These mythical figures of dragons, mermaids, angels and unicorns come to life, revealing the stories and mysteries of a bygone era. We expect to have this project ready during the first half of 2025
Our second chapter takes us to the heart of Lagrasse, at Place de la Halle. We overlook the covered Place which dates from 1315 and houses the Saturday morning food market. Here, we focus especially on food lovers with a contemporary kitchen designed for aspiring and experienced chefs alike. Fully equipped with necessary as well as desirable tools of the kitchen and state of the art cooking facilities, both indoors and on the terrace, we hope to provide an ideal place to submerse yourselves in the history, products and flavours of southern French cuisine. We are planning to open our doors to guests in the latter part of this year.
We are excited to bring this fusion of history and modernity to Bouquerie Lagrasse and to provide you with an experience that extends beyond a simple night’s accommodation – a historical and gastronomic journey that we hope will remain etched in the memories of our guests.
